Welcome

to What Was Hidden.

This is a space dedicated to dignity, courage, and community for male survivors and those who walk alongside them. We exist to bring truth into the light – carefully, respectfully, and without forcing what has long been carried in silence.

Through our annual gathering and ongoing work, we offer spaces for storytelling, learning, remembrance, and connection. Here, lived experience is honoured, professional knowledge is shared, and conversations begin that can lead to meaningful cultural and societal change.

Whether you are a survivor, a family member, a practitioner, or someone seeking to understand, you are welcome here.

Yearly Men's survivor summit

The Yearly Men’s Survivor Summit is a compassionate gathering created for men who have experienced harm, and for those committed to understanding and supporting them. Rooted in dignity, courage, and community, the summit offers space for storytelling, connection, learning, and remembrance.

Across talks, workshops, and panel discussions, survivors and professionals come together to share insight, deepen understanding, and explore pathways toward healing and meaningful change. The summit is not about fixing or forcing – it is about being witnessed, building connection, and contributing to a future shaped by truth and care.
